Almost a Week of School Lunches

Monster Munchies

I pack our lunches in Easy Lunchboxes. They are wonderful. In fact I just ordered another 8 of them (and since they are backordered I get a free cooler bag, too). They are a little annoying to dry to get ready to repack them after I wash them plus I can’t do all eight at once because I have to put aside the stuff for Daddy and Jamie’s lunches and pack them when they get home in the evening. With another 8 I’ll be able to let one set air dry and have one set ready to pack each afternoon. It’ll make things a little more easy for me.

Lunches
pasta, peppers, pepperoni, and black olives (mix them together with a little olive oil and salt and pepper); since the pasta needed to be heated I put the two side in cupcake liners to allow them to be easily removed during heating
chocolate sugar wafers
grape tomatoes

Lunches
homemade lunchables (triscuits, string cheese, pepperoni, and ham, turkey, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese cut into stars)
half a nectarine
baby carrots

Lunches
bacon quesadillas (baked 10 minutes at 375*F – I really prefer baked quesadillas to pan cooked ones), salsa in cup
applesauce
pickles and olives

Lunches
burrito (this recipe – incredible!), two mini fruit roll-ups
dried fruit
cucumbers

Lunches
We didn’t have regular lunches on Friday because we went to a homeschool get-together/potluck at the park. I brought peanut butter no bake cookies. I made a batch with plain Rice Krispies, a batch with Cocoa Krispies, and a batch with half plain and half cocoa. I must say I like the mixed kind best. I’ll have to make them that way again sometime.

Check out what other kids ate this week by going here!

MMM No bake cookies! I really like the homemade lunchable. The little star shapes are too cool!

I love looking at what everybody else is packing in lunch boxes. It gives me new ideas on what to send to school with Chloe.

I have a couple of containers just like yours but they’re ziplock. I LOVE them.. even DH is using them for his lunches!
